In my case, it was me that completely disappeared.

Non-attachment is huge in Buddhism. It doesn't mean separating ourselves from everything, but the opposite - there is unity in everything, so there is nothing to detach from. Non-attachment means not holding on to things - thoughts, feelings, etc - letting them pass through you.

I'm proud of you for taking the steering wheel with your thoughts. I loved your prayer - that's a keeper.
