So - wow.

Today was the first time I've been around all of my family since the fallout over my A became public and the news was distributed across the board that I was also getting a divorce.

Lolly it sounds like you handled yourself with grace as well and what a lovely way to end the day as well:) I admire your strength to ease through this first holiday with all your family. When we are faced with challenging situations it can be hard but when we face that situation with strenghth of character as you did each challenge gets a little easier. Hugs to you Lolly:)

The image of your curled up with all the little wee ones is so heart -warming. They are the holders of how to live life in the present, and in the 'simple'. I find my children ground me back into reality and shift me to better places.

And wow, that IS a big family! And hey, you'll never have to do THAT "first" again. You got it out of the way, and from here on in, you'll know what to expect, and that regardless of others' attitudes, you can & will handle yourself with grace.

Well done (-:

Lolly,

(((Hugs)))

You handled the situation well and deserve many kudos! It’s so hard when family is judgmental and non-supportive. I hope your siblings come to accept that you have the right to choose the path that is best for you in life and are not required to stay in unhealthy relationships to make it easier on them.

In the end, it is their problem and since most religions encourage forgiveness it does not seem they are following the spirit of their religion by holding a grudge.

Keep holding your head up and continue to take the high road. You will find more joy and peace on that path.

Much love and big hugs,

E1
