I agreed to help MM with some tax issues even if the relationship ever ended, I realized when I woke up this morning that I WANT NOTHING to do with him, let his W help him. Why should I do anything for this man that has done nothing but beat me down for years, so I called and told him that I will mail all the papers to his PO box (wife does not know about) and he said did you talk to the lawyer I told him I do not think I am helping anymore, I want all contact to end, he said fine and hung up. Not once did he ask how I was, yesterday was the first day in years I have gone the entire day with out a call, I ALWAYS GIVE IN, he did not ask anything, he was mad because I am not helping him, I realized AS USUAL it is always about him. It frusterates me that his life has not been effected by this at all. He just goes on life as usual. The tone in his voice, just heartless. HOW DO THESE MEN do this? Man it pissed me off! It took everything in me not to call him back and tell him what a piece I think he is. I am not sure if I am more angry or sad that I have allowed this loser to treat me the way he has for so many years, this is so hard, it is rally like a drug addicition, no medication to help though!

I'm so happy you decided you were not going to help him....kudos for you :). You're absolutely right, let his W help him. Just stay strong on keeping up the NC. Good luck...

HI F2M

The right decision, you bet ,the right decision for you not him.

Don't give an inch on this and in time the addiction like all addictions can be broken.
