I'm not really big on self-help books, never seem to finish one, BUT.....I've been reading a great book, a classic, that I just happened upon while looking around on Amazon. "The Road Less Traveled" by M. Scott Peck. Since I have initiated NC, I have found it extrememly helpful in understanding why the A happened and how to better love myself as well as my DH and son. It gets into spirituality as well, but especially the parts on Loving and Discipline were mind openers. While reading everyone's posts, I keep thinking back on what this book has made me aware of. It is kind of like a human psychology primer geared towards relationships.
Anyone else out there with some recommended reading material to get through the tough times?
Good luck to all of us.
We are on the right path.

Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl
and
The Power of Now: A guide to Spiritual Enlightenment by Eckert Tolle
This last one is ESPECIALLY helpful for those mired in depression or anger...I can't speak highly enough of this book.
