Talking about the Truths!!

Okay, so as I said yesterday, I would begin a thread for the truths we are believing (or just beginning to believe). :) :) :) Hope we can come up with a good amount!

My truths are:
1) I am more than the sum of my past mistakes
2) I am worthy of receiving love
3) I can achieve my goals (still can be a struggle to believe this one sometimes)
4) I can like my body, even though my metabolism is slowing way down and not cooperating (struggle with this one, too!)
5) My H does care about me
6) I do not have to waste my energy trying to please others
7) My happiness IS important
8) I can't "fix" people
9) Being in the present is better than being in the fog
10) It is essential for me to have boundaries in my relationships with others

1) I don't have to care anymore what others think. (What I mean: While I was in the A, I spent so much time worrying about who knew what or thought what about me/xAP.) I feel so free now being able to say to myself, I don't need to know what they think, it doesn't matter, and I don't care. It's such a relief. I hadn't realized how snared I was in that whole mentality.

2) I don't need xAP to be a great musician. I have two other gigs going on now that are very promising. I'm considering taking up a whole new instrument at the moment. When this first came up in the band, I said, Yeah, right: another instrument for me to be mediocre at. The drummer was completely startled and turned to me and said, Are

1. Sometimes we trust the wrong person. You can still trust again and often.

2.My H cares for me and loves me deeply.

3.

The difference between who you are and who you imagine yourself to be, is what you do.
