Thank you to our Leader and the Vets

I just wanted to say thank you specifically to our wonderful Leader and our Vets. They spend a lot of time on this board loving and supporting all us chickens, and sometimes it must be very discouraging and frustrating while one wave after another of desperate and lost newbie and tweeners struggle to get to a better place. I wonder if the satisfaction they get when one of us finally "gets it" is enough to sustain them - because it really is a huge commitment of time and emotional investment for them to hand-hold us through all this muck. They are invaluable to me, as are all the newbies and tweeners who share, and I just wanted to take a moment to THANK them. I want them to know that they are making a real, serious and valuable impact on my life and that, without them, and without this board, I'd be LOST. They are angels, giving of themselves and loving all us 'strangers' without expecting anything in return (other than we learn and grown and have healthier, happier lives.)
GOD BLESS THEM!

Thank you, Dee.
It warmed my cockles to read this.
Without a doubt, I wouldn't be on the path to healing without this board.
Great post, dee--Word, word, word...word...wordwordWORD!!!
I've often wondered if iddy and the vets have just wanted to throw in the towel with me. But yet, they're still out there with the support, understanding, suggestions, kudos and ((HUGS))...
I seriously couldn't have made it without them. Only a couple of friends know about my a and they're
Dee,
You are most welcome, sweetie. May I also say that some of your posts actually got me thinking about stuff that I had buried a long time ago....in a good way, so don't feel bad. ;-) It's always important to remember where we came from because those ashes that were once our affairs enabled us to rise again, just like the mythical firebird, the Phoenix. One of my favorite quotes is from J. R. R. Tolkien taken from

Thank you Dee,
There are women from many backgrounds on this board and we culminate together and join forces to bring others out of an endless state of oblivion.
Whether you think you can or you think you can't you are probably right. A parrot can repeat what it has learned but the mark of true intelligence is applying what is learned.
Speaking of true vets, you....my dear...are such an intricate part of this board there is no way I could properly thank you for your time, effort, energy, advice, wisdom, graciousness, kindness, compassion,..... (How big is your head right about

You gals are making me tear up. Now stop it! My sinuses are acting up enough already...this crappy fog we've had for 3 days sucks. Feels like I'm back in La La Land again. NOT!
