You will be able to change your vote.

~True~
I'm afraid I fall under none of the above and since there wasn't an "Other" I've abstained.
I told DH at the start of the affair (emotional affair at that stage), we agreed to an indefinite separation so I moved out on completion of the purchase of my house a couple months later.
My affair lasted nearly 4yrs and produced my almost 2yr old daughter. I ended the affair in January 04 when exOM's partner (whom I believed was an ex-partner lol) discovered the affair and I discovered that exOM's exPartner wasn't quite such an exPartner after all since she had a month earlier given birth to my daughter's younger half-sister...
Although exOM & I had been living together off & on over the last 18mos, exOM wanted to set up home with me at that point. I politely declined.
I had a much discussed major backslide in May 04, after which I have maintained strict No Contact and I consider that to be the true ending of my affair.
Soooo...All parties were long since aware, I simply decided to end the affair since if I did not deserve better, well, my daughter most certainly did.
DH & I have subsequently decided to rebuild and raise DD as a family and are actually *enjoying* doing so!
I vote a very weird "Other."
Wishing you strength & peace,
Posie
I've read your story before, but missed the part that DH was aware of the affair from the beginning.
I thought I covered all angles, but you've proved me otherwise.
Cheers

I've been the square peg in a round hole for so long I'm pretty used to it.
Anyway, there is actually some benefit if some of the newer boardies who don't know my situation can see that despite all odds, hey, I've managed not only to survive but I'm actually rather enjoying that "survival!"
Wishing you strength & peace,
Posie
