You know SB, I've been doing a lot of thinking about this healing process. It is NEVER easy. There are some who end up being slapped in the face with OW in the mix and I would guess that somehow makes it easier to get ticked off enough to really begin the move on process...but getting there is so painful. Then there are those who feel stuck in a marriage that they are not actively working at fixing. And finally there are the single/divorced women here (like myself) who really just need to do some things to work on ourselves so that when the right man comes along, we won't miss it.

I am amazed at how supportive we can all be for each other. This group sees change! We see healing! We get there! Women come and they go once they feel strong enough and then there are those of us who stick around to help. No matter how long it takes! And all any of us needs to do is care about OURSELVES enough to want to change, regardless of our marital status and/or that of the one we had the affair with.

You be the engine on our healing train - I'll be happy to be the caboose! And all the cars in between will get to their destination as long as they are willing to roll ahead down the track of life with us!

Hugs lady...you night owl you! LOL. ;)

And the one thing you KNOW you have to do is be patient!!! Especially with all you are going through at this point. Just remember with enough time, this too shall pass. Take a deep breath and slowly let it out. Let yourself feel some peace. You've taken some huge steps and getting to a decision is exactly what you needed. Now your only challenge is to go on with life the best way you can. As for impatience, I know you gave a wink, but whatever you do, don't let it get the best of ya.

Hugs,

Patience - ughhh do I have to???!! (stomping my feet) I know just a little sense of humor-I know I have a long road ahead of me but hey at least now instead of sitting on the fence or being STUCK in misery I am walking towards something that I truly feel is RIGHT and will bring me and my boys peace at last. I feel like shouting FREE AT LAST!! AND I so wish I could pass that feeling on to all who are suffering here. If they only knew how easy it is to just make the decision and stick with it - do the work. The pay off is so so - REFRESHING!

Patience Yes we all have to be patience some more then others as for the rewards are greatest for those with patience.

Things are moving forward for me, not as speedy as I would like but still the results are favourable. I have been reading and drawing my strength those who post here and thank everyone as you know it can be a lonely road travelled by oneself.

I'm aboard, lets get this train rolling.

Love AF.
