Hi Melinda :smileyhappy:
The one thing that destroyed the foundation of my A was therapy and self discovery.

I read in one of your other posts that you use CBT...I am a huge supporter of that and have proven to myself that it's effective.

Hi Melinda,
Good stuff thanks for sharing. Looks like you are on the right track of taking responsibility and figuring out what lead you down the A path. I have to check out that website you posted.
Hey Michelle,
Good to see you on and still going postal. All good and I’ll have to check out the link you also posted.
Hey Ms. Vic,
Also good to see you on and sharing your inspirational journey. Saw your post last week but didn’t have time to respond. So I'll take this opportunity to say that you posting as a vet and showing how to work through struggles deserves super kudos! Being a vet means we have overcome some things but it does not mean we have arrived. We are still learning and growing too!
Much love all around,

Going "POST" AL !! hahhahahahahha HAHHAHAHAHAHHA. I love it!!!!
SUCH SIMILARITY to my story! (as a growing up girl) albeit it was my Mother's messages I interntalized; which shaped my thinking world.
Which CBT as you know...teaches us is "UNDERSTANDABLE" for us to have developed the thinking habits we do...considering our upbringing. And sure! It's NOT to blame. I struggled for years with the disconnect between KNOWING I was affected by my growing up - but being a very responsible person (I was the scapegoat) I didnt want to "blame" my parents. CBT was my CONNECTOR.
I remember my first day of therapy - when my Dr. Bob - said, "where do feelings come from?" and I retardedly said..."uhm...Your gut?" Doi. (he probably heard the ca$h registers jingle when I said it) :) To which he replied, "YOUR THOUGHTS" BOING!!!!!!!!!!!!
For a practical "DO-ER"
