That should be a milestone right?

2 weeks is HUGE! I am at 3 weeks today and it feels really good to be able to say that. Just think, in 7 more days, you can say that! And in 14 short days, you can say 1 month! And won't you feel good about yourself?

I too use journaling, blogging and writing emails I never intend to send in order to sort through my emotions, get them out on the table and move past them. I don't think there's anything wrong with this if it helps you and you resist the temptation to send them. Just remember, nothing good will come of reaching out to him, even to tell him of your mutual acquaintance's death. I am sure he will find out- it is not your responsibility to tell him, no matter how much you may want to.

I like this idea...and here I thought that my math teachers were lying to me when they said that math would be useful after HS ;)

Congrats on your two weeks! That *is* something to be very proud of, especially when some days seem to go by so slow!

Dignity,

Two weeks is huge when you have to fight sooo very hard (especially in the beginning) for every minute...let alone every single day...these first few weeks we should get "dog-year" credit, or something ;)

Good for you for not reaching out when the opportunity presented. I'm so sorry to hear about your high school friend, though. If this opportunity to contact hadn't happened, another one would have presented itself Im sure. I had a similar situation myself this week, though not as tragic. You were right not to use this (cracked, broken) window of opportunity.

Big hug,
Misty
