So MM & I both smoke (gross I know), and no I wont quit lol. When I went off on him, I told him to be aware of where I was, and if he saw me in the spot, to go somewhere else. (theres only 1 spot we can go to, but sometimes he goes in his car). So he looked like he was on a long winded convo at his desk, so I decided it was an ok time to go down, and guess who is down there right after me? Yep, MM. WHY couldn't he of just walked away when he saw me? I even turned my back hoping he would go away, but no. He tried to start stupid chit chatting I just nodded me head. We stood there in silence, and I walked away. I guess I will have to walk down the street from now on. I don't know why I expected him to respect me now, when he hasn't for the last 9 months......

Moving On,
Man...I EMPATHIZE with you having to work with him. I thankfully DONT - so I cant say Im the best to come with "advice" on this one...
OTHER THAN...when you say..."a step back already"....
REMEMBER:
Ugh...movingon...so sorry that you had to have a conversation with MM.
I am glad for how I handled it. The other night when I was lashing out at him, I had all these questions I wanted to corner him and make him answer me with. And there we were, alone, outside, and I could of asked, I could of "cornered him" and made him tell me, but I didn't. It wont solve anything, the answers don't matter, and I don't need any justification from him on how I am feeling.Yeah,
High 5 YOU!!!!
Great Job!!!!
M
MO,
As far as what happened today...Phhfffttt! He was being very obvious in trying to engage you, as he knew dang well where you had gone. Good for you in not buying into his hungry ego. He wanted it fed, is all. My Xmm used to come downstairs all the time and sit across the room at the other computer...when he had a brand new one upstairs in HIS office. Why? Because he wanted to chit chat and tell me all about his little ol'self, not having a clue as to how annoying he was. I would always bury my head into my work and just nod, pretending I was listening. I couldn't tell him to get lost because he's da'boss, but he could feel the sudden cold chill in the air, no doubt. I hated having to act that way but it was for best for both of us. He doesn't bother me anymore when he plops down at the other desk, as my give a damn is totally broken, but some days I just wish I could vaporize him. :smileysurprised:
I am proud of you for shelving the need to get answers from him. Besides, he doesn't have them. He would just be dancing around your questions making up answers as he went along. Your answers have to come from your own quest for knowledge and truth.
I hope we will see more of your around here.
(((Hugs)))
Way to go mo, Moving On!
You sent him the "Moving On" message!
I just do this little hand gesture (behind his back of course, and I am sure we all can think of a certain one)....and then I imagine he explodes into a billion little desolving specs. Poof! He has been vaporized. ;-)
