I'm going on a two week trip.
Emotionally Health Spirituality is insightful.
The only books I've read for the past two years are text tooks, so I don't have any great recommendations...but I did want to say have a great trip!
Dee,
Hope you have a wonderful time!
I second "Eat Pray Love"...a great book!

A few that top my list of non-A, non self help books:
The Double Bbind by Chris Bohjalian
Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffenegger
The Red Tent by Anita Diamant
The Kite Runner (I also loved A Thousand Splendid Suns) by Hosseini
Have a great trip!
Bodhi
The Bean Trees by Barbara Kingsolver
Sirens of Titan by Kurt Vonnugut (the only book I ever read twice)
Watership Down by Richard Adams

I just finished "The Bishop", it's not a feel good book but it's still pretty good! Never read the secret:)
