VERY proud of me!!

I've decided that I'm no longer going to watch exAP's son come the New Year. I just can't because even though I could wait until the Spring and go LC, it will never change. I'll still think of him and come up with reasons to break NC and call him, so I think by not watching his son anymore (and having to see him every week) will really, really help me. I'm going to tell him this week. Do I need the money? Yes BUT my dignity and self-worth is more important to me and I can (hopefully) get another part time job somewhere else. Just had to tell someone. I feel really good about this decision!

I am so proud of you too. I had thought to suggest this to you, but I figured you needed the money, so happy happy, happy for you. U r right, no amount of money is worth it....U go girl!! Keep us posted if necessary to let us know how it goes.

tell him soon, that way you do not feel bad about him not having someone to keep the son, or him making you feel guilty. do it asap. while you have it in you.

You've come to the right decision. It's all about thinking with our heads now instead of our hearts. There is always something we can do to change our current situation when our sanity and wellbeing are on the line. I am proud of you.

Thanks ladies! (WC...I love your little smileys bowing down!! Very cute!) Yes, I am going to break NC tomorrow and call him BUT it's for a VERY good reason! No more babysitting! I'm quite relieved about the whole thing. Wish me luck for tomorrow. I have too be strong and just do it!

Make the convo very short and sweet. have it prepared, play it out, make sure you are short and to the point, you do not owe him any explanations. dont let him convince you otherwise. just be to the point. and we are here, hope it goes well.

Leaving a VM or emailing him is better.
