I know i dont yet qualify but i dont want to isolate.

I look at this site and read a few times a day when i can including in a public library on my lunch break.

I may well get another kicking from some of the ferocious women on here but its worth it if the alternative is staying hidden.

Hey Rob. Some are ferocious but when you end it, I think we all need ferociousness:)

Hi Rob!

There is nothing wrong with wanting to say hi. I remember once posting about breaking NC, and getting a response from somebody that was like "you should know better, i'm disappointed in you". I was so discouraged I didn't want to post for a week. I was discouraged because I was disappointed in myself, and I didn't want anybody else telling me I had screwed up--I knew that all too well.

There are a lot of posters here who believe in tough love, but I think it's because we know how easy it is to fall right back into the fog. We want to grab hold of each other and shake the hell out of each other so it doesn't happen again. I am somebody whose personality is such that you catch more flies with honey, and I really dont like when posters here to try to get sassy with me. But, this would not be a good community if all anybody did was agree with each other, "Oh, you broke NC? no big deal, as long as you're happy". The tough love is hard to hear, because it's often true.

This community will be here to support you if you go forward with ending your A. It took me 2 months of back and forth to finally cut the cord 100%. You'll get there, just keep trying, and know that it's much better on the other side.
