I will start by saying that this post is not intended to offend anyone. I am positive that not everyone will agree so I will refrain from using generalizations. This is meant as a thought provoking post and is not directed at any particular person.
What does EAS mean to you? We all know what it stands for....but at the end of the day what does it mean to you? What do you walk away from here with?
For myself it could stand for many things including ending an addiction support. I know some people think that it is absolutely ridiculous (I was once one of those people) to think of XAP's or A's as an addiction. Do you know what the definition of an addiction is?
Addiction - the state of being enslaved to a habit or practice or to something that is psychologically or physically habit-forming, as narcotics, to such an extent that its cessation causes severe trauma.
In other words, compulsive use of a substance known by the user to be harmful.
If this does not describe an A then I don't know what does. People can be addicted to many things including other people, chaos, stealing and even sex to name a few. I know this first hand because I am addicted to many things including my A. I am learning to fight my addiction because of this board. I am in recovery from an A addiction.
