Anyway, it's tough to get any work done when you can't answer your office line, right? So ladies, today I AM TAKING CONTROL OF THIS and i went out and bought a caller-id device and signed up with my local phone company. It's already up and running! So, now i don't have to miss calls anymore, worrying it might be xMM.
On the other hand, i will know now, how often he DOESN'T call--and that is just something i have to deal with. Still, to this day, i will automatically look up at the wall clock in my kitchen around 5:50 p.m. (he always used to call me on my house line, every night, between that time and 6:30--on his drive home from work.
One of these days, i won't look at the wall clock anymore--and 6:35 will come and i will not have even thougth about how silent the phone has been.
I do wish someone would call me now so i could put my new caller id into action!
RING!! RING!! I AM GOING TO WILL THE PHONE TO RING! LOL.
Clarice
