when you don't trust yourself...

I had an EMA with a MM and am now separated pending divorce. I've started to see someone else lately. He's very good to me and we have fun. But I find myself having paranoid thoughts of distrust about him. I think it's because I don't trust myself. Sometimes I can't even believe that I had an EMA. It's just not something I thought I would ever ever EVER do.

So, my question is... how do you trust others when you don't even trust yourself?

I feel sometimes like my belief in 'faithfulness' has been shattered. How do you get that trust back, after you yourself have shattered it?

I don't know that you do get 100 percent trust back again, maybe the price for being on any of the corners of an EMA is TRUST.

All I can suggest is to make sure that YOU behave in a trustworthy manor and learn from history and do not repeat it.
