Why can't he just leave me alone!!!

Basically over the past couple of months I have been having an affair with a MM which I ended last month, But he never told me that he wanted to end neither did I we just both felt it was time for us to leave eachother alone. This guy was a person who obviously wants a women to 'SWEAT' him, He played too many games for a 33 year old and I know what I did was wrong that is why I said I am not having anymore affairs ever again. I still have feelings for him when I see him at work but I don't act on my impulses which is wanting to kiss him and hold a lengthy conversation with him, But all of a sudden he keeps coming up to my department because we both work in the same building and trying to talk to me but I won't give in and I am desperatly trying to stay away from him and distant myself but I can't when he keeps trying to see me and hold conversations with him. I don't want to be mean and when we knew it was time to stop our affair he never would speak to me when we had seen eachother but all of a sudden he see's that I have moved on from our affair and now he wants to act like he wants me again, Is it a game or what or does he want to rekindle a bad thing?? Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

I know exactly what you mean!!! We don't need them, but they won't go away. WHY NOT? I guess that is a question yet to be answered. Maybe these men are the type who always want what they can't have. Who knows. Know that you aren't alone. ;)

Obviously it sounds like he still has feelings for you. It's hard to let go someone you care about. What you need to do is sit down and have a heart-to-heart talk with him and tell him that you don't want to speak to him anymore. You can do it in a gentle way at first, but if he continues after that, you might have to be a bit more firm...even if it does come across as harsh.
