First, I have to ask you why you were on-line chatting with your BIL alone without your DH or your sister? That's a very big no-no. This in essence has been a relationship that he felt you were OK with him coming on to you. We have to have strict boundaries because it is so easy to cross the lines into an inappropriate relationship.

Thanks.

I agree that boundaries are important and until

Unfortunately, it sound like her world is already a little messed up. And, as much as I'm SURE you want it to go away and pretend it never happened, it did. What did you say to your BIL when he made the inappropriate comments? If you didn't already, you need to clearly tell BIL that he crossed the line.

Put yourself in your sister's shoes - what would you want her to do if the situation were reversed? Would you want to know? Something to think about.

My thoughts are with you :)

I agree I need to let him know he went over a line and that is that...

First congrats on sticking to LC with your xAP and moving on to deal with post A stuff! Yeah you!

Now for the JackA…ahem I mean BIL!

Next time you talk to him express in your own words that he has disrespected your sister and your M. That you love your sister and your niece/nephew and would never do anything to jeopardize your R with her.

Whether you think you can or you think you can't you are probably right. A parrot can repeat what it has learned but the mark of true intelligence is applying what is learned.
