In the early stages of NC, last thoughts at night and First thoughts in am were definately about xAP.....

more recently they have been less about xAP and more focused on A.

Hey NC :)

I love waking up to your posts because of our time difference. I think it's a natural progression to go from thinking about our partners to thinking about the actual relationship and EAS. I feel the same way you do. Right now I still need to read and post here very much. And I plan to stay and pay it forward. But I think there does comes a time for all of us to fly from the EAS nest with our new wings and get on with the next step in our lives.

On my second cup of coffee now! I couldn't agree with you more. Hey - I emailed you through your profile the other day to talk golf, but it bounced back. Shoot me an email if you wish - if you don't want to, I understand! :)

NC-ya know i was thinking something like that this morning too. ivillage is starting to pop up in my dreams! i'm at the very beginning of ending my A (for the 4th time...) and for me, coming here regularly is really therapeutic. but, i think there is also a risk with spending too much time on EAS but in a way, its spending more time thinking about the A, and the AP.

I too, have been vacillating between thinking about/missing/remembering AP and thinking on a more intellectual level about affairs, what causes them, what allows them to continue, what leads people into them, etc. i think this analysis is part of the healing process. we want to understand what happened to us, and what happens in general in these situations.

there will be a time when you get tired of analyzing and asking questions. there will be a time when you get tired of looking back. at that time, you can pull away from EAS a bit. it's probably why more vets dont stick around, because at some piont, you just dont want to keep talking about it. but for now, i dont think you're there yet, which is our gain bc i love your posts!
