Yesterday was just a crappy day - and I sluffed off on the daily work I need to do for me while trying to focus on the "work" work I had to catch up on. I felt like it was me against the world. Last night I realized that it's not me against the world, it's me against me. We are truly our own worst enemy. We will never find peace if we wait for the world to just give it to us. Even though I'm an avid yogi, peace isn't found in the action of sitting cross-legged, it's found in the moment when you realize that even though your life right now is far from perfect, it's not as bad as it could be. Focus on the here and now - not what could be or what should be. Focus on what IS.

Just picturing UBM dancing made me smile! You go girl!

Foggy - I loved your quote too. I have big issues with worrying, so I will repeat this one over and over.

Namaste to both of you :)

Wanted to extend a belated and BIG CONGRATULATIONS to all the recent tweeners on this board - Always, Lolly, Michelle and Awakening (sorry if i have missed anyone). Thank you for your continuous support and words of encouragement, despite fighting your own demons, you are all a true inspiration to me and have helped me incredibly.

Hey Bodhi-mi-ster!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted on the Zenseday posts. I’ve been MIA here and there. You were gone for a while too! Welcome back. Good to see Foggy posting in too!

Great quote. Thanks for posting it!

I’m going to follow it and go focus on what I’m supposed to be doing which is making dinner. My tummy thinks it is important!

Much love and big hugs,

E1

Whether you think you can or you think you can't you are probably right. A parrot can repeat what it has learned but the mark of true intelligence is applying what is learned.
