Met an EAS gal-pal this week

This week I met a cyber-pal from this board who I've been writing to for almost 2 years. We met in downtown Detroit, a place I never frequent alone, and I managed to get lost several times. I was totally out of my comfort zone, but forced myself to face my fears and do something I have never done before.

It was a wonderful experience and my friend is one of most charming and gracious people I have ever met. I would have been so disappointed in myself if I had chickened out. Just goes to show you....

I know her name... but I'm not sure if it is her real name or her board name. I tried sending a text message to this person about my Mom's passing and I never heard back. I know this woman ADORED my Mom and I really pray that she has somehow discovered the news and is able to reach out to me or any of you. I think this news is going to be devastating, especially since she just met her. If anyone wants to PM me regarding this, I'd be happy to share her name and hopefully figure it out. Thanks!

Hi BGF,

Yes I did receive your text when I was at work and I am sorry to say that my first instinctive reaction was it was a sick horrible joke from someone and I immediately deleted your message and went on with my day.

((hugs Kicked)). She will be looking down on us and we will see/speak to her again one day.
