Come on in and take a seat. You can use this section to talk about anything that may be on your mind, or to seek out opinions and advice.

Come on people. Use this section to talk about anything that is on your mind. For those of your rebuilding, this is the perfect section to discuss it. For those of you in counseling, share with us some of the stuff you are learning. For those of you who have moved on and found a new "special someone" we want to here how you are doing in your new relationship.

Those are just a few examples of what I'd like to see in this section. It also a great place to vent and let it all hang out. :smileywink: I've seen a couple of threads in the General Section that would have been perfect for Fireside Chat.

Thinking about play..or fun...actually. I once read that if you want to break the habit of obsessing over someone that you need to STOP. Consciously replace the thought of this person with another feel-good thought or activity. To strive to do this at least 10 times a day for a couple days and see if it helps break a spiral of negativity. (and no..I'm not saying don't deal with real feelings..just how to stop obsessive thinking) So I started wondering what feel-good thought or activities people have? I created a very short list for myself: pizza!!! popsicles a day in the pool, river or a water-park losing myself in a good book spending a rainy day in an art gallery walking out of a movie theatre into a bright sunny parking lot the smell of fresh cut grass the smell of clean laundry listening to children laugh sitting on a porch/deck and watching the sun rise with a nice cup of coffee (or hot tea) the beach. Anytime. The beach. dissolving into a pile of giggles and tears with good friends. Okay. How about the rest of you guys. Would love to see what others truly enjoy.

RB,

This is a great idea for a thread. Could you copy and paste it as a new discussion in this section?

Absolutely..I wasn't sure where to post. Didn't mean to hijack your thread.
