I don't know what possessed me tonight, but I've been trying to end things with AP.

Hi AE,

I've been reading your story this week and while I know it's hard to wait, I actually I think the fact that he wants to not have a misunderstanding (because lets face it text and Im leave

Hi another...you know, a LOT of times us girls like to sit back and REALLY pick apart what a man says...dissect it and draw several "potential meanings"...LOL!

LOL...Patience is definitely NOT my strong suit, either.

I sort of have this half-baked philosophy (and I know it's a common one, but I've always been an ULTRA-responsible rule follower and NEVER thought I'd do something like this A) that people come into our lives for a reason, and possibly to teach us something :) Patience is the lesson I've been unable to master through a long marriage, children, pets, home, etc....

Wow! You echo something I believe - that people come into our lives for a reason. Sometimes it's for them to learn a lesson, or for me, or for both of us. I know it probably sounds like a bunch of new agey sh!t to more logical people lurking here - especially the ones who might think we're just looking for justification in our A's. I don't see it as justification however; I still know an A is wrong on so many levels, and it probably means I owe a whole bunch of people bigtime karma in the next life (yeah, I sort of believe in that also) or even in this one. I know it means I have a lot to learn. But the fact that it's wrong doesn't negate the fact that it might lead to lessons I need to learn, or that my AP/OM needs to learn.

I don't think what he has to say should be "squirrel producing". It might be something good. Maybe it will be two or three weeks until you can get together and he can tell you. I would really try not to pester him about it LOL. If you can, pretend he didn't say anything. But when you see him, THEN bring it up, in case he forgot or something (men can be irritating that way).

Well, I guess only time will tell what exactly he has on his mind, but it seems like it must be good to me if he isn't taking the out you are offering him.

I don't think he's being hurt by it: he completely understands where I'm coming from.
