After my divorce I decided I was in no fit state to choose another partner, and so i just got used to being on my own. I did some study, some personal growth courses too. I tried to understand my inner self and to grow as a person.


I worked hard, I'm a single mother who is independent, and self sufficient. I figured I didn't need a man afterall.


Then out of the blue, after 6 yrs of being on my own i met a guy who rattled me. I work as a bar attendent and he was staying in the hotel I worked at. He

Sounds like you don't really want to be with this guy as his "girlfriend". The best thing you can do is just level with him. Whether he wants to be your friend or not shouldn't really matter. It sucks being the other woman, and you can do better, when you're absolutely ready.
