Bad afternoon

I heard my phone beep while I was teaching my Advanced Pilates class this afternoon, and I greedily checked it to see what he had to say.
"To soon, if ever. feeling like I shouldn't have called. This is my last goodbye."
I was kind of shocked, yet had no choice but to keep my cool and continue teaching. Three minutes later my phone rings, my best friend calls to ask me to help out with her older daughter because her five year old who has been on and off sick for the past few weeks and was at the hospital with 105 temp yesterday needs to get back to the hospital right away. They called and the blood work shows a bacterial blood infection.
At least I am more worried about my friends daughter than I am myself so I am not letting my OM thing get to me to much. I would love to go curl up with a bottle of red wine and perhaps shed a few tears for ever having gotten into this mess, and in fear for my friends little girl (a client of mine nearly lost her husband last fall from a blood infection that went undetected for ages) -- but alas, I have another class to go and teach and need to keep a smiling face for my students.

((hugs))
