HI,

I just booked one for this weekend and I actually used my own because well DH and I have seperate accounts. Anyway, the prepaid ones are fine and can be used. You can always setup a seperate mailing, etc. they do send monthly statements tho. But I think you can get that stopped. You could also purchase like an Amex one with like a $100 on it. And use that.

Where are you going??

Inquiring minds want to know! :)

If you use a credit card to guarantee a hotel room at the time of reservation, either via phone or online, - and you pay cash at the hotel, it will NOT turn up on your creditcard statement.

If I get a reservation this is what I do, most time I just walk in and request a room and pay cash (if I'm paying). If AP is paying he puts it on his credit card. He travels a lot for business so hotel rooms on his credit card don't raise any flags with his wife.

** We don't see each other very week, we average meeting up about every 4-6 weeks, so there would only be one extra hotel room on his credit card at most every month.
