Glad I could give you something to talk about, WIP :) I'm always happy to be of service…

And no, it's not really an Affair Support board anymore. It is more and more becoming My Affair Enabling board thanks to you and the likes of you :)

I guess I can say I'm a proud member of MAE then, right along with WIP.

Ahhhh ... Catbert ... back to throw out one of her favorite words ... "enabling".

Can anyone explain to me how some of the posts in this thread can possibly be seen as 'support' and how by really giving support we cannot help but to automatically be enabling?

I always viewed "support" as compassion and empathy without judgment.

"In the meantime, we will make each other as happy as we are able."

I think you have given yourself some solid advice. All you can do, all any of us can do in an A is live for "now". What fun would it be if we spend all our time analyzing each little detail? This A is providing you and your AP something very special. So enjoy it, while it lasts for as long as it lasts.

None of us can know what will happen in the future.

It's not a perfect solution, but it is what it is. :-)

The love that the two of you have seems to be quite special. Cherish it.

This affair doesn't seem that different than any other ones I have read about on MAS for a long time.

This is what sets it apart from any other stories on here :

"She could leave because she has no kids, but if she left - I'd almost certainly lose her to another because I'd still be unavailable and she wants marriage and kids.

The way I see it that is his AP's choice to stay in her marriage and also her choice to have a child with her husband.
