Is this common?

Most of the time when I'm going to meet my AP I'll plan to already be out and about so that I don't have to explain why I'm leaving to my BF. Alot of the time I'll go shopping and get a bite to eat. AP will normally text me to find out where I am and knowing that it's late and that he hasn't had time to eat during the day with his high stress job I often offer to get him something for dinner. It's totally not a big deal to me and I'm happy to do it but he NEVER takes me up on it and I don't understand why. Why will he not let me bring him dinner?! Is it a boundaries thing?

Where is he when you want to bring him dinner - at work? If he's at work, maybe he's afraid that someone will see you and start to wonder. I forget if he's married. If he is, maybe he's afraid his wife will stop by his work when you're there. It could be a boundaries thing, or it could be male pride that he doesn't want you spending money on him, or it could be just common sense caution.

No, it doesn't have anything to do with him being at work.
