Are you kidding me? Answering your question - no, no and no that isn't normal. Does he WANT a d-day? Does he want everything to blow up in his face and end up with neither of you? That's just plain crazy.
IMO, i don't really think your AP understands what he may be getting himself into. he seems to be taking for granted the intelligence of both you and his W.
My "friend's" W or XW, I'm not sure of her exact status at the moment, called me one day. She found my number on his cell phone. she asked who I was and I told her that I work with him. She began pressing me for details and I told her in a very stern voice, part of my job, that I was not at liberty to discuss anything pertaining to work with her as everything is confidential. Last I ever heard from her, so far. I have noticed a woman sitting in the parking lot, though. She watches me come and go. I haven't asked anyone else about her, but I have a feeling it's her. The whole concept of even talking to the woman creeps me out.
She has posted here before in the past. The man is a friend of hers, and she's never actually shared with him that she thinks they are in an A. If I remember correctly, she hasn't even told him up front that she likes him. And every time she thinks they start to get closer, he gets uncomfortable and brings up his wife and family.
This is not an A, from what I remember. It is a woman infatuated with her friend who is completely oblivious to the fact that he is supposedly in an affair.
Without getting into more detail, you know only part of the story here, so I'm sure knowing what I've told you, is your basis on where things stand between him and me.

Are you sure you two are on the same page about your relationship?

I see - thanks alldonenow.
Peach, I've always had close guy friends and we email and text and meet for drinks, lunch, etc - just like I do with my girlfriends.
