Company Email ?

AP has never used email before. He recently got a company laptop and while he was away last week I talked him through sending emails. Well he got a little carried away with what he was writing to me. His computer has been acting up so his supervisor said he would look at it. When AP was explaining the problem he mentioned something about emails. AP says that his supervisor said the company's listserver gets a copy of each email! Is this true? My job does not require email so I have no experience with that. Any help is appreciated. thanks

Yes, company e-mail is not safe at all.

LOL!
OK then, thanks for your answers. Survivor, that link was helpful. I really should have known better, although my emails to him were not that bad. His, well, let's just say they left nothing to the imagination. He is not too worried, his supervisor will probably just give him a heads up. He knows he wont rat him out. In fact, when he flew in on Friday, I picked him up at the airport so we could have a couple of hours together, then he called his supervisor to come to the airport 2 hours later. His super asks, why 2 hours late? then says "never mind, I don't need to know" LOL I'm sure he knew what was up.
Thanks again. Thinking we will just not use email. Never did before, it was just something new to him.
