hey life -- at the beginning of this year, my long-term BF accused me of having an A with MM. there were apparently "signs" and BF was very suspicious. i immediately went into deny, deny, deny mode! but BF wouldn't let me out of his sight for 2 weeks and i was going crazy to see MM and assured him we were still okay. i did have phone calls with MM but we were both dying to just see each other and hug and talk in person.

sooooo, i used my best friend as a decoy (with her permission) that she was having a mini-breakdown, was really depressed and upset because her long-term BF just broke up with her. my BF, myself and my girl and her BF were all close friends, socially, but my BF and her BF do not have individual direct contact, so i felt safe using that excuse and i knew my BF would let me go by myself to see my girl and "comfort her".... but i was really comforting MM!!

the scenario worked perfectly because MM and i got two hours together and we both felt soooo much better just sitting and talking and hugging!!!

so it was totally worth it.

I said "The kids are driving me crazy, I just need to get out. Is there anything you need from the store?" (The big stores are all about 20 min away, so DH balked a little, but let me go.)

MM and I enjoy our "alone time" during the week, so our other half’s are always at work. We socialize with our spouses and friends on the weekends. I've never really had to make up an excuse and neither has he. However we have been called on our cells a few times from our spouses while we were doing the deed. That can be a little awkward:) LOL, NMR

I have told my husband that I have to go walking in the park to feel the fresh air outside and met up with MM at work on certain weekends.

hey NMR, that same thing has happened to MM and me, the cell phone ringing right smack dab in the middle of our good time!! was either his work or his W.

but you know what, after the first few times of being interrupted, MM started leaving his cell in the car while we while together. that consideration right there told me volumes about how important he considered our time together, uninterrupted. it's the little gestures like that, that show me how much he cares about me.

ahhh....

I also dont have to make up many excused to see my OM...I typically do it when DH has school or a meeting or something...I usually am "going shopping" when I see my OM, which I always spend part of my time actually shopping. I have made an hour long trip to the store for Tide before and knowing Id be questioned I zipped through the dollar store for a few things and told DH thats what took me so long...he KNOWS how long I can spend browsing in a dollar store...LOL and fortunately one just opened about 2 miles from my house - HOW CONVENIENT FOR ME!!!!

I have also said Im going to pick up some product from my Mary Kay girl and have her just put it in her mailbox for me and I do a drive-by really quick and go see my OM...he knows how gabby my consultant is and so that excuse works well to...

Ive considered using the "Im going for a walk" thing and meeting OM in the woods near my house but Im always afraid DH will need me and come looking for me and there's only so many places I could be walking ya know...

I understand! We have started turning our cell off lately. It's hard to turn the office phone off when I'm at his place. I have a smile on my face because of what happened a couple of weeks ago. Don't know if I should tell the story over the board :)NMR
