you are generalizing again. so i'll talk about mine a little. i do agree that he has lied to his wife, as i have lied to my husband. he has not lied to me. first off, he has never made any life long promises of spending a life with me. we both said we are never leaving our spouses. my AP never talks about how bad his marriage is. he will talk about a fight sometimes as i do. he never says oh i have a horrible marriage. so there ya go. we never talk about sex with each other. we both know we have sex with our spouses. he doesn't lie to me. you generalize way too much, assuming everyone has the same out come.

Unfortunately this is what happens 99% of the time. It's called "throwing the OW under the bus." Despite the fantasy talk, most men have no intention of leaving. Why should they? They have a W who does all the domestic stuff and a sweet, exciting OW on the side.

For whatever reason, women seem a lot more willing to get out of an unhappy M. Most men won't leave unless there is another woman waiting in the wings.

You can help her by just listening..no "I told you so" or, "you'll meet a nice single guy" for a few weeks.
