Have you ever been compared to the W/H of your MM/MW? If so how do you feel? react?

Just a thought.....

I have never been compared; in fact, we don't even call our spouses by their names. We call them 'significant other' or 's.o.' for short.

Now, he has on occassion commented positively on something she has done with her work, etc., and that does give me a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. But, I am sure I have done the same with my H, so I can't say anything.

My mm and I do discuss our spouses with each other, in fact we talk about everything. But somedays I am just more sensitive to hearing about her than on other days. I need to toughen up a little bit, he tells me that I need to be more secure about his feelings for me and our relationship.I see his point too, I just wonder how other women deal with this issue

Thanks for your posts

MM and I discuss spouses all the time... and I've no problem with that... it's been good for both of us... I'm happy to give MM my female opinion when he needs it.

As for being compared... the closest MM comes to this is like... 'my wife would never do that'
