I don't have a cell phone and I know nothing about them...

If OM calls me from his cellphone, is my number stored in there somehow?

And if his W gets hold of my number, can she figure out who the number belongs to, or will the phone company not divulge that info?

Actually, I'm much more worried about his DD than his wife. His wife is not very nosy...his DD is!!!

with my carrier Verizon Wireless, my phone stores the last 10 outgoign or incoming calls and replaces them as I make or receive more calls. So after MM calls me or I call him I make a bunch of misc calls to my voicemail, check my bal and min used (free calls)...anything to get his # out of it. On my bill it just says incoming call if he callls me. If I call him it does say the #. I don't think the phone co can give the # especially if the account is only in your name. Hope this helps.

What you should do is dial *67 before your call and that blocks the number.

I also have Verizon Wireless and I know on my bill...call made out shows the number...calls coming in from non-Verizon customers are listed as incoming with my phone number...I called customer service about this one time and they said I can only get a list of incoming numbers to my phone with a court order...it is part of the privacy act. As for numbers stored in the phone...I am able to delete specific incoming and outgoing calls as I choose. He is going to have to make sure he deletes the calls he receives from you and makes to you. If either gets a hold of the cell bill and sees your number dialed out...it is possible for either a them to do a reverse lookup if you have a listed number...if your number isn't listed then you have nothing to worry about except someone just calling the number to see who answers.

you can sort of protect yourself by dialing *67 prior to entering his phone number

and it will say either "private" "incoming" or "unknown" on his cell phone

the iffy part is once the bill arrives

some cell phone companies are now listing the incoming number on the bill irregardless

of if it is blocked or not -

I always use a calling card when calling MM so I don't have to worry about that

it usually leaves some random area code like in another state

so even if she saw it she couldn't figure out anything -

MM has also said that his W is not "allowed" to touch his phone and that he has it

attatched to him at all times -

Also my MM's cell phone bill is paid thru his business so he's pretty much covered on

all area's but we have always been extra safe in that area he never calls me on my

cell phone unless he has a calling card and we never talk more than 10 minutes on my cell

Just sort of some weird rules we have -

works for us

I have Sprint, and when he calls, it only shows as an incoming call, not a number.

I have found a trick to calling him so his number does not show up on my bill, which my H gets and pays every month. So long as I have a saved voicemail message from him (a risk in and of itself--I keep my phone away from my H--and he is not the type to check my voicemail), all I have to do is return the call in my voicemail. His number never shows up on my bill or in my outcoming calls list--only a call to voicemail. Of course, this only works for someone who is able to safely keep one of his voicemail messages saved.

Good luck!
