Both myself and my AP each have 2 kids. I have never met his - although his 8yr old has many times asked who he is on the phone with and he sometimes tells him some guy friend and ask him if he wants to talk to him - to which I have informed him that the poor child will end up talking to a dial tone. He pesters him so much when he is on the phone that we don't talk around him anymore since we are afraid he may inadvertently tell my AP's W about the phone calls. His 14 yr old has seen my name on a missed call on his cell phone and asked who I was - he was told I was just a friend. Personally think the kids add an unnecessary risk to something that is already risky enough.

nah you aren't wrong for thinking this way..it was just so much to try to get my son to go over aunt such and such's house overnight when i wanted to spend time or when he wanted to spend time..also my son was very crafty..the last time we did that before he met AP..he showed up at home talking about he left his clothes for the next day and AP and i were in the bedroom..just talking at that point..but we were still there..he asked questions...i had to tell him the truth..i do not lie to my son..he also questioned who i was on the phone with all the time and who was picking me up...it can make for a tricky situation if things don't work out...but when he and i broke it off for a month and 1/2 it wasn't tricky at all..he still maintained what he did for my son when he and i weren't together...so it worked out but, it was a gamble...not everyone is like that...now i trust that if things go down the toilet for good or for a period of time again, he'll be involved in my son's life ..i think it's a good thing...
