As a lot of people here can attest to, something about an old flame, especially a first love, is hard to resist.

An A with an ex is easy to fall into and easy to develop into something emotional because of the pre-existing emotions. Once you're in the thick of it, it is very hard to get out! At this point it might not be so hard to get out of - you might want to do that while you can. Usually it's just a train wreck of emotions that gets harder and harder to get out of. It's strange that we often counsel people to get out of A's, but that's because we do see so much of the downside here. Read around here, and then make up your mind about what you want to do.

Doesn't it amaze you how we know what's at stake, that we can lose EVERYTHING and still we continue this reckless behavior. I stand to lose a wonderful man but because of my selfishness and lack of giving it my 100% there is a chance I can lose it all. I'm hoping that before it gets to the point of discovery that I wake up out this FOG and leave this affair.

This affair is not worth it! My addiction to him though seems to be outweighing any ounce of common sense that I did have. Think about this very carefully because should D-day ever come, you and everyone else will be devastated.

Wishing you all the best!

Much peace & Love,

Rayne
