As you all know I have been out of the A for months. AP and I are still friends, somewhat.

Is your husband computer savvy enough to be able to retrieve things that have been erased? If not, then I would tell him that he was having problems with his marriage and that he was friends with several women at work, but you're the one he felt most comfortable talking intimately with. I would make sure, also, that ex-AP knows all about what is happening and can back you up if need be.

Or, you could just tell him the truth and let the chips fall where they may. You say you don't love him, so why you're wanting to stay in the marriage, I have no idea. Unless maybe you really do love him, but you're just confused.

Either way, good luck.

I think you should be honest and tell your H the truth. If you were willing to have an affair than face the consequences. I don't mean to sound harsh but I been lied to and I know how it feels. It sucks and I'd prefer the truth over anything else.

I agree with the previous poster, just tell him the truth at this point.

Maybe I am the slippery fish here. I would put off the truth as long as possible. Make the email seem like a joke or something.

The best thing you can do is to get it all out right now......no trickle truth because that just makes it worse. Do it now and get it over with.

Jackson,

I just don't know how to tell him it was over two years time and not just a few months.

I personally don't think there is any need for all the details.

I'm in your situation as far as not being in love anymore, except my H hasn't found out about the current EA I'm in.
