Hi,

I had a brief emotional affair with a man who lives across the country whom I met online. Long story short, it involved several emails, phone calls, picture exchanges (use your imagination). While the emotional connection was intense, we discussed the fact that neither of us had intentions of leaving our spouses and children several times.

Blocking his number and email and telling him to lose yours was the best thing you could have done. I would have done nothing different. Do not contact him again. You owe the W and him nothing. They need to work out their own mess....this was his 12th time. You should check out the EAS board. There is a lot of wonderful women with a lot of insight on what your going thru.

On a side note: Just from my experience the W could figure you out if she wanted too. My H figured out my XAP by doing a reverse phone look up and it went downhill from there.

DO NOT feel awful, or guilty, for blocking him. That was the wisest move you ever made!

They should work out their own life. They obviously have a lot of issues to deal with. You did the absolute right thing blocking him, so don't get mushy and contact him. If you need help with that, EAS is the place to go.

Was there a phone number listed in the e-mails or has she gotten hold of his phone (were there phone calls)? Reverse look up is easy as pie, but it only works with listed phone numbers. It's scary how easy it is! If you go to anywho.com, click on "reverse look up" and enter a phone number, it gives you the name and address of the person the number is listed to, and then you can click on "get directions" for directions straight to their door! Women should never give their listed phone numbers to anyone they don't know well. A long time ago it was near impossible to get an address from a phone number like that - short of looking through an entire directory to match the number!

Good luck and keep us posted on this!
