How to Avoid a D-Day

As I'm relatively new to the A-world (3 months in), it would be helpful to know how you all avoid the dreaded Discovery Day.

As I'm relatively new to the A-world (3 months in), it would be helpful to know how you all avoid the dreaded Discovery Day.
I'll go first:
1.
1.
1. How do you and AP communicate?
We talk almost every day, text several times a day and sometimes e-mail. Call history/txt is deleted, - and sometimes saved in a password protected doc. Pics hidden in draft e-mails, secret adresses. We´re both computer savvy. Our SO´s are not.
2. How often do you see each other?
At least once a week, for a couple of hours. We´ve been on several trips. Everything from one night to a week.
3. Where do you meet?
One of my old and trusted friends is travelling a lot. We have the free use of her apartment. (I´m taking care of her mail and watering the plants). When she´s at home AP and I meet at a restaurant for lunch, dinner or coffee. We also have our "special places" (especially during warm weather) where we meet outdoors. To go for a walk or just "snuggle up" in the car. AP also owns a house in another town and we sometimes go there to spend the weekend.
4. Does anyone other than you and AP know about your A?
My two BFF knows. AP´s priest (!) and two of his friends. And of course my friends from here.
And any other advice or tips to not getting caught would be welcome.
Strange advise, but; Lie as little as possible. The more you lie the more you have to remember. Never claim to be in another town than you really are. I almost got stuck in another town due to cancelled flights and weather. Would have been hard to explain.
Don´t use perfume or aftershave (you or AP) I caught my XSO because he smelled of OW perfume - and once of an unfamiliar soap. So if you shower, use the same soap as you normally do. Have your own little travel bag with flight sized soap etc.
Delete all txts and e-mails from each other, but not from others. A completely clean call/txt history is suspicious. And only use phones where H/W cannot check bill.
Don´t start "a new life" with sudden changes. Like losing a lot of weight, buying a new wardrobe, new work out programme, listening to different kinds of music, new friends... Any change can cause suspicion.
I´ve been on both sides. I know how it feels to be cheated on. And of course I never expected to be a cheater myself. Yet I am.

Well, I know we are not
I haven't been here for a long time and mostly hung out at the affair debate.
