each primary relationship is so very different, and then each AP person we find provides us with a different experience. i wouldn't worry so much about u being #5. maybe it's taken her that long to figure out what she wants and doesn't want, and that has lead her to you: what she wants now. it's a good place to be in, to know what you want and what u don't want.
I thought long and hard about this one, went away and came back, realized I am self conscious about posting, but it is what it is so here goes. I've had 3 AP at one time for a long stretch, right now I have 2 going. Have to think long and hard about the total but I do know it's in the low double digits since HS, which was when I first cheated.
I have had 3 AP's but over a period of 15 years and "one at a time". I've been involved with my OM right now for 11 years. The other two were fairly long term (well, for an A), about 1½ years each.
It seems that after my first A, I just felt like I had to have two relationships - my H and someone else. Something about me likes and yearns for another life, and another relationship.
