Hi all. I am new here & would appreciate any advice or just maybe a kick in the a**! Here goes.......I am in my late 30's,
Collegeprof - you are absolutely adorable!
Hey thanks so much for the response. I appreciate it.
No, I dont think there is any real feelings. I love the way he makes me feel thats for sure. I love the ego boost. I am pretty sure as far as he is concerned its all in fun too.
As far as my job, he has graduated from my college & is currently in medical school. (hey, maybe I should wait a few more years......LOL) So, since he is not a student, it is not an issue.
I still feel bad. Considering I was sexually active the year he was born is more than a little disturbing. But, unfortunately I don't think I am ready to give him up.....just yet anyways.
Great board! Thanks!
First of all I hardly consider late thirties as old. Your still in your sexual prime!
I don't know why people like me, and you apparently have the ability to put good common sense to the side for something as delicious as a twenty-something yr. old. If it were not for the fact that I'm completely, and and helplessly in love w/ AP I wouldn't mind having....... well, anyway I can't think that way, that's the type of crap that got me here to begin w/. LOL.
I say ride the ride for as long as you can, BUT if you even have the slightest notion that your falling, run fast, and far! Not only are you M, but you know the nature of young people, especially young men. To get feelings caught up in this situation would be suicide. You have a good H, that's something that a lot of people here are lacking.
So, I say tread carefully, but enjoy!
Hi. I haven't posted here before, but I'm active on several of the other ivillage boards and came across your post while doing a search.
My husband is 16 years younger than me. We have been together for (starting in November) 7 years, married for 2 1/2 years and just had a baby 5 1/2 months ago.
I was married for 18 years to a husband that was boring, acted like an old fart, didn't have the time of day for me or my 3 children (who I consider I raised on my own basically), he was on drugs and was always gone.
I have a very devoted, loving, charming, mature husband who is the love of my life. He is the best thing that ever happened to me and vice versa.
It can work, however, you are married (and I was married and going threw a divorce at the time I met him).
Oh My, CollegeProf,
I also was a college professor for 15 years.
