Hi there, I am terrified of posting anything online, but I am feeling so isolated that I don't know where else to find support.

You are right..some wives do hang on for longer than they should even though they know the truth, but just don't want to face it. You need to be prepared for that because some men are not strong enough to leave if their wives won't let go. My MM has tried leaving his wife 5 times and it would be easier for him to go through with it ALL the way if she were to agree and go along with it, but she won't. Not all marriages, men and women are the same and sometimes, yes, things do turn out. My husband was living with someone and had a child with her when we started seeing each other and he also had an ex-wife he had cheated on and yes, I was very concerned about his reputation but we have been married for 9 years ( together for 15) and he has never once cheated on me nor would he. He had simply never been happy or completely in love with either of those women and with me, he found love. So, why am I in the situation I am now?.....I really ask myself that when MM does the crap that he does to me...don't understand why I can't have the passion and be IN love with my H rather than MM who is emotionally messed up. Good luck, vanilla, and keep coming back here to read and post....it really does help.

I so know your situation almost to a t... same thing work together, but in different states. Although he has three children and just started counseling also. I will admit that we have been seeing each other for 8 months now and see each other a least once a month for a week at a time, because of our jobs we have it allows us to spend time together, and let me tell you having him live with me in my house
