He asked you for your social security number? You didn't give it to him did you? If you did, you'd better check and see if there are any new credit cards in your name - he could have opened some and used them. It's a nightmare to get those charges withdrawn if he's done that. He doesn't sound "borderline" sociopathic, he sounds full blown, no question about it sociopathic. Please check about your credit cards, if you did give him your SS number (why else would he even be interested in it unless it was to use it to take money from you).

I'm worried about you even being near him.
