I have known G for 5 years... I work at a hotel where he's come to stay twice a year for a few months at a time while he works a very high paying short term job. Last year we hooked up and went out, a few weeks later having sizzling sex. I am 50, he's 62. I am a widow, had a boyfriend after my husband's passing but that didn't work out. G sent for me to take an all expenses paid vacation to another state he was working in, and it was one of the nicest weeks of my life. He lives 1200 miles away. We talk to each other 5 or 6 times a week when he's not here in my area.

Divorces are public record - they are printed in most newspapers. There should be a way to look it up online at the court in his county.

It does sound fishy.....

He is either married or he may not have the same feelings for you as you think he does....even if he is single...to me that is a giant red flag...Maybe he isnt really being honest with you about how he feels...if he really loved you, he would want his family to meet you or invite you to all his homes........

You could simply explain to him your concerns. A $30 background check via the internet would be fine too.
