I can say that time off from the A will give you a chance to really sort out your heart.

I don't know if it's normal or not, but I bet it's common and I feel like that a lot too.

I am about 3 mos. into my first A and I am always analyzing and second guessing evrything and I know what you mean when you say you are always wondering abut the ending.

thank you for the reply. i find it really very challenging to not be eaten up by the guilt and i want to stop, or retreat, or pull back, but then... oh dear.... the memories... the desire... the perfection of his touch is so strong. he and i ruminate on these points often and we are both flipfloppy. i know there is a shelf-life factor in situations such as these, i just don't know how to make sense of the flipflppiness, yet.... thanks for "listening".

thank u so much for your reply. i always feel like the more i know the better off i am, and i have read a lot of articles, web info about affairs, and why they occur, why they end, how they end... etc... but yes, i feel like how many times can i cry wolf b4 he really tells me he is done, or how much "email drama" can he take b4 he decides enough is enough or how much can i take? we are taking the month of august off b/c i have had some health stuff to deal with - it has been an icky summer -- and i just can't think straight right now. but he is also flipfloppy b/c of the guilt, potential discovery.... etc.... i just don't know. i want to believe that if a really good match occurs, then these issues won't arise, but i have no precedent from which to devine this as true.
