It's been a while..........

Well, now the holiday season is upon us, and I hope everyone is doing well. It's been a while since I've posted, been busy. I left work a little sad on Sunday morning. MM and his W are going into the city with their kids, and some family. It sounded really nice, but I really wish it were me going with him instead of her. It's a tradition for them. It's really hard this time of year. H and I don't have much of a relationship. I went into the city last week. My mom, and daughter went with me. We went in, saw a show, shopped a little, and saw the tree in Rockerfeller Center. H didn't want to go. That's fine with me, but I just wish that I could have MM to spend these times with. Now that I've gotten my little rant over with, Does anyone know what they are getting for their MM's christmas? We exchange something every year. Nothing really personal, but a little something. I'm really stumped this year. Any advice, or suggestions?

MM and I decided a while back that when we exchanged gifts, it would be something for the office because obviously we can't take this stuff home. If MM gets me something for Christmas, though, I'm thinking I'll just tell him he doesn't have to worry about office-type gifts. I'm always buying stuff online and bringing it home so hubby wouldn't ask questions if I had something new. Bed Bath and Beyond had some neat guy gifts. I like to get something he either sets on his desk or carries around with him...ink pens, business card holder, etc. That way he's forced to think of me! I don't know if he's getting me anything, though, so what I've decided to do is save the gift to see if he gets me anything. If he doesn't, I'm just going to take it back and take the money I get in return and go buy something for ME. Something I want... Something that makes me feel loved. Geez, that sounds pathetic. I have a H who will probably lavish me with beautiful gifts, so why should it matter if MM buys me anything or not? Sadly, his $10 trinket would probably mean 10 times more than even the nicest thing H bought me.

I agree with gurl...I would give anything to have a day in NYC at Christmas time with my daughter and my mom...you are very lucky. That sounds more fun than having H along anyway. I bet you had more fun than your MM's W did! C

I agree with the girls, Be thankful that you have your mother and your daughter! As far as me and my MM exchanges gifts, other that the new toy he bought me last week the only other thing we'll be exchanging are fluids:) I'm in a fisty mood today! Can you guy's tell? LOL, NMR

That was so funny NMR. MM and I are going to be together at the end of the month. We're going to the movies, and then to our special place for the night.
