I'm so sorry things are so difficult for your AP, and in turn, your R with him, right now :(.

Sending many ((((hugs)))) your way, and nothing but good wishes for some peace and happiness for you.

I'm so sorry you're hurting sweetie. It sounds like he's in an awful place right now. I feel bad for him also. I honestly don't know what to say to make you feel better. Just keep coming here if we make you feel a little better. And yes, go on with your life as best you can. If you two are meant to be then things will work out, if not you need to go on. (((Hugs))) ♥

Jane, there is AAS, or "after the affair", but honestly, I think they also recommend NC when ending an affair. They just aren't as militant about it as EAS LOL. EAS is kind of like AA, and I understand why they have the "tough love" approach, because that's what an addiction needs. Face it, most of our A's are like an addiction. But AAS might be the place for you, not sure. You could lurk there awhile and see.

You don't have to post on EAS but there is the "healing library" that is full of good reading material. I am a semi regular (was there 4 years ago) and yes No contact is strictly preached to this day. I will send one here if I feel MAS is a better fit for their situation. If a person is not ready to end it, they aren't ready.;) There is also the option of blocking someone if you think they are too abrasive for your liking etc.
