Thanks to all of you - I am **very** nervous - and will probalby have to have someone mop me up the next day - - but i'm going to do it. Its a few weeks away -so i have time to drop a few pounds - use the crest whitestrips, go tanning, go clothes/shoe shopping - look like a million bucks - and have him see me there - see her there - and decide for himself!

wish me luck! man, i wish that i didn't love him so much...

hugs to all.

I have never actually met MMs W, but I did manage to end up at the same restaurant as the two of them on (of all days) Valentine's Day while I was dining with (of all people) my MOTHER! Could I be a bigger dork?:) It was actually half-planned, half-coincidence, but it ended up being 100% horrible. Fortunately, I looked fabulous; unfortunately, MM didn't even see me. His W and I, however, locked eyes for about 5 seconds, and the oddest part was that although we'd never seen each other before, she gave me the most impolite, almost evil look. Perhaps it was just my paranoid imagination, but don't most strangers at least smile when their eyes meet? Anyway, all I got out of it was that she has "very bad taste in boots" (so said my mother when I made her follow W to the bathroom--see, I really am a dork). Oh yeah--and my mother ever-so-graciously pointed out that the only thing W had that I didn't (besides, obviously, MM on her arm) was confidence. I like to think that I have a pretty healthy self-image (perhaps even too healthy at times), but evidently my mom disagrees. Anyhoo, I guess the moral of this story is be confident and don't wear bad boots! Good luck and let us know how it goes.

nah - i have good taste in boots - i'm safe! my mom knows too - she has never seen me so happy - is very supportive - doesnt necessarily want this for her daughter - but she can tell how much i love him. she is torn - wants me to go - but doesnt wnat me to get hurt.

time will tell...it a few weeks away - thanks again everyone for your words of encouragement and support.
