What an awesome night last night, he wrote me a letter from the heart and included the lyrics to "The One" by Gary Allan (not sure if any of you are country fans, I am). I have always loved the sound of the song because its so smooth sounding but I never really paid attenton to the lyrics until I read it in his letter. Boy does it hit home. I found the lyrics in their entirety and will paste them below for anyone who's interested. We had the best love making session and then he held me in his arms and rubbed my back for a good half hour, ahh I don't deserve him!

No rush though I need your touch

I won’t rush your heart

Until you feel on solid ground

Until your strength is found’ girl

I’ll fill those canyons in your soul

"ike a river lead you home

And I’ll walk a step behind

In the shadows so you shine

Just ask it will be done

And I will prove my love

Until you’re sure that I’m "the one"

Somebody else was here before

He treated you unkind

And broken wings need time to heal

Before a heart can fly’ girl

I’ll fill those canyons in your soul

"ike a river lead you home

And I’ll walk a step behind

In the shadows so you shine

Just ask it will be done

And I will prove my love

Until you’re sure that I’m "the one"

Trust in me and you’ll find a heart so true

All I want to do is give the best of me to you

And stand beside you

Just ask it will be done

And I will prove my love

Until you’re sure that I’m "the one"

On cloud 9 today, Soleil
